My daughter is screaming. It's nap time and she doesnt want to go to sleep. I feel like such a loser sometimes. There's other mom's who scrapbook and quilt and make cute cards and things. They keep a clean house and home school their children. All while cooking organic food. then there's me. I work, have a messy house, don't have a creative bone in my body, and eat processed food. And I certainly don't home school. I guess all those things dont make you a better person. It just looks better. People who can do all those things get noticed more. I guess what really matters is how I live, how I treat people.

April 9th

I get tired of people saying "It's only first grade. How hard can it be?" can you teach a kid to read? Can you teach a 6 year old how to edit and revise? Can you teach a kid how to re-tell a story? Can you teach someone how to go from reading "I see a cat." to a chapter book? Can you make 45 lesson plans a week?
I am stressed about wether or not my kids are ready for 2nd grade. We only have a few weeks left1
